GOLDEN MILK

TURMERIC - is a natural antibiotic.  At the same time it aids the digestion and helps improve intestinal flora.  It not only purifies the blood, it warms, stimulates and the formulation of new blood tissue, and ids in the digestion of protein.

From an Ayurvedic point of view - Turmeric gives the energy of The Divine Mother and grants prosperity. It is effective for cleansing the chakras, and helps the stretching of ligaments.  It is no wonder it is so popular with yogis.

This is Golden Milk with the difference.  Mine is power packed.  It is however very "how you like it" sort of recipe.  There are so many different ways to prepare it

Ingredients
2 teaspoons of spiced turmeric (Available from me and shortly from our Wild'nweedy store)
Ours is fantastic - I buzz it up with peppercorns, cardamon pods and seeds, chilli, and a touch of garlic (everything is better with garlic).
You can add honey to sweeten.

Method
Put the turmeric into a mug or cup
Fill with hot milk (cow, goat, soy -
Turmeric, pepper and spices

doesn't matter) or water, add milk to cool it if necessary.
Now, here's the good bit.  Taking a cue from my American Friends, I put a drop of my very special hemp oil into the finished product just before serving. This takes it into a mother realm of beautiful - it is something else.

I have also added the turmeric into plunger coffee and found it blends very well.  Turmeric tastes slightly grainy no matter how you have it (even in ice-cream), and this is not lost, but it does give a lovely Indian Spicy taste to the coffee.
