FREE GREENS
Where are you all.
The most important message straight out of China and you are not responding.
Plus free food on the road sides. Students/people are telling me how difficult it is and how expensive in the shops - but no one is with me on my morning "trawl". I met a student this morning who is struggling to feed a large household. Did she come with me...no.
This morning I got some fabulous baby greens, some fresh and lovely seedings, which I will have this evening - and how much did it cost - NOTHING. Nature gave it to me. I didn't even have to pay extra petrol... I was coming home from the post office.
Free greens, plus some fish, a lovely sauce, the baby potatoes I got a few days ago (I do have some in my garden), chives, parsley... What a feast, and what will it cost? $1 for the fish and an egg in the sauce.
Reminds me of the explorers in Colonial days who died whilst surrounded by the most wonderful forage food - and starved. They were too afraid to pick it. There is hardly anything that is poisonous, and we do have google, so you can check before you eat.
Please, please get out there. Don't starve, don't eat lifeless greens...
